A Note From the Founder – Getting Ready for Summer Kerry Cordy Summertime is almost upon us! Badges are a great way to keep boredom
Each badge has a list of requirements that encourages participants to learn new skills, acquire new knowledge, take field trips, and provide service to their communities. While there are certain requirements that are mandatory to earn a badge, there are plenty of optional requirements as well to let each participant focus on aspects of the topic that interest them.
Use badges for family fun or to supplement your homeschool curriculum and create unit studies.
Use badges to teach classes and co-ops or lead enrichment activities.
Choose from two scouting style options. Quest Clubs or Frontier Girls.
Encourage your students with badges as part of an after school enrichment program, in class incentives, or give kids more options in independent study or remote learning.
You are never too old to learn something new! Stay active and engaged by earning badges on topics you always wondered about.
I love everything about Curiosity Untamed - earning whatever badges the kids are interested in, not having to teach different things to different ages, the ability to strive for higher awards, the flexibility for 'quirky' kids, the support from headquarters and other parents... all of it!
I love the fact that it is skill based, the large variety of badges, the lack of middle managements, the fact we get to pick the fundraisers and keep the profit, the teaching of character and patriotism, the support we get from the CEO, the feeling of appreciation that you do not get from other groups.
We love the freedom and fun of earning badges how and when we want to. With so many to choose from, the kids can pick almost anything!
I love the confidence it builds, and the large selection of badges and flexibility.
I love that it's for everyone, young and old!
Love the depth of the program and how it has helped my daughter develop over the last five years.
